Ely Cathedral

When: 20.06.2019 to 22.06.2019

Where: Ely Cathedral

Shetland based poet Jen Hadfield will be Ely Cathedral’s poet-in-residence between Thursday 20th and Saturday 22nd June.  She will be working with local schools using poetry to explore the history of the cathedral and its founder Etheldreda.  Jen will also be at the Cathedral’s Places of Poetry Day on Saturday 22nd with the POP team, who will be on hand to talk about the project and answer any questions you may have. We also hope to encourage you to write a poem during your visit, which you can then pin to our new digital map. Keep an eye on our website for timings and do come along and meet Jen and the Places of Poetry team at Ely Cathedral on Sat 22nd June.
